Rare architectonic blond burl walnut armoire.  Veneer on spruce and pine, the case opens to a series of shelves.  The cornice which has a modeled ogee profile arcs at the corner and is punctuated by inlaid designs below.  Original lock and shield shape brass escutcheon.  Austria, c. 1840.

• Condition: Very good.  Original finish, only minor repairs to original veneer.  Back composed of antique bead board panel.  Disassembles into components for easy transport.
