Exceptional mahogany Chippendale side chair featuring gothic tracery on its pierced splat with fine carving. Fluted styles with acanthus capitals. Original finish and reupholstered in a charcoal velvet with brushed nickel tacks on the overupholstered bowed seat. Square legs and stretchers. Engand c. 1770.
